Setup and Preparation
Thank you for booking one of our on-site AdWords training courses.
All our courses include the option to train 2 other members of your team at no extra charge. To train everyone efficiently and comfortably, we'll be uploading the slides for your course to our website, allowing us to run them side-by-side with Google AdWords.
To do this, we need to confirm the PC setup and other facilities available at your premises (outlined below). Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
We look forward to meeting you on the day.
Course time and format
Our courses start at 10.30am and finish around 5pm with an hour for lunch.
These are intensive courses and you should arrange for messages to be taken for you rather than interrupting the session.
We recommend that you dress casually and comfortably.
PC and Internet broadband
We require a PC (or Apple computer) with broadband Internet access.
The PC screen should have a resolution of 1024x768 (or better). If you purchased your system in the last 3 years, it will almost certainly meet or exceed this requirement.
Supported Internet browsers
Our slides are tested for correct display on Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) 7, IE 8, Mozilla Firefox 3, Opera 9, Safari and Google Chrome.
If you plan on using a meeting room for our training, please check that you can access an external website (e.g. this one).
Spreadsheets and documents
Our training course includes a number of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and PDFs (which you can download and keep).
If your PC doesn't have Microsoft Office installed, we'll email you the Excel spreadsheets. You can download a free copy of Adobe Reader here.
Whiteboard or flipchart
A whiteboard or flipchart is a very helpful addition if you have one available.
Do I need to prepare for the course?
All our courses provide a complete introduction to Google AdWords, so there's no need to do any preparation.
However, this is a great opportunity to review your marketing plan, and ensure you have up-to-date figures for your costs and profit margins.
